WELCOME TO ELSEWHERIA

Elsewheria was founded by travelers, for travelers; with salty hair, muddy boots, and a deep love for the wild, the weird, and the wonderful.

After years of exploring remote corners of the world, we fell in love with the kind of magic that only lives off the beaten path: real cultural connection, raw nature, and the feeling of being completely alive (yet not alone) in unfamiliar places.

We believe that true adventure fosters growth and that being surrounded by nature and a group of like-minded travelers, can reconnect you to yourself in a way that everyday life rarely does.

OUR MISSION

To whisk you away on a far flung adventure to wild and beautiful place. The kind of places that can transform your outlook and foster reconnection with yourself, your fellow humans and our amazing planet.

Audy Scala

Co-Founder & Chief Baja Adventurer

Audy Scala is the Co-founder of Elsewheria, scuba instructor, freediver, and adventure-seeker who’s been writing her own map since the age of 17.

She’s been on epic hitchhiking journeys throughout Latin America, dived with manta rays in Indonesia, worked in ocean conservation in Bali, and sung with whales in French Polynesia. For Audy, the sea is home—a healer, teacher, and sacred mirror.

Deeply rooted in Mexico, she shares its vibrant culture with pride. Off-duty, she’s journaling in jungles, dancing barefoot, or lost in a fantasy novel at some cozy, far-flung café.

Danielle Wyatt

Chief Logistics Expert

Raised in New Zealand, Dani’s love for the outdoors started young—whether hiking, surfing, skiing or exploring remote islands.

At 25, she swapped her corporate career for a one-way ticket to Europe and never looked back. Since then, she’s trekked through Albanian villages, push-started tuk-tuks in Sri Lanka, and pursued travel that feels grounded and full of heart.

As Chief Logistics Expert with Elsewheria, Dani crafts adventures rooted in connection, culture, and a healthy dose of fun. You’ll find her sourcing the best local eats, cracking dad jokes, and obsessing over the tiny details that make trips truly unforgettable.

Harvey Elsewheria Profile Pic (1)

Harvey Pike

Technical Whizz

Adventure runs in Harvey’s blood. After three years of travel, he’s built a life on the road packed with unforgettable moments from living with a local family in Koh Lanta, surfing in Sri Lanka and road-tripping through Europe in a van.

It was during these experiences that he fell in love with the chaos, charm, and wild beauty that travel brings. Now, he’s on a mission to help others experience that same magic through immersive travel and community.

When he’s not hiking through some remote corner of the world, you’ll probably find him playing chess, chatting with locals or even designing this very snazzy website.

Samantha Shea

Pakistan Logistics Expert

Samantha first left the US in 2017 and has been adventuring ever since. After falling for Pakistan on a 2019 backpacking trip, she returned solo, met her now-husband Fareed, and has lived in Hunza Valley for over four years.

She’s trekked extensively in Gilgit-Baltistan and speaks Urdu and some Burushaski. Together, she and Fareed support Elsewheria on the ground.

A fan of remote travel, she’s also explored Afghanistan and Myanmar. When not in the mountains, her other passions include anything involving bikepacking, crystal clear tropical beaches, and documenting her adventures through photos and videos.
